Samuel Sundaralingam

Samuel Sundaralingam is a Sri Lankan writer, actor, director, producer at Stages Theatre Group, leader of its youth ensemble, and a member of the Stages ensemble. He has contributed to various Stages productions in multiple roles, including PING! (Writer, Actor), Dear Children Sincerely: 7 Decades of Sri Lanka (Actor), Patterns of Our Genocides (Production Manager), and Katawaha (Writer, Producer, Actor).

Most recently, he wrote and directed What a Wonderful Day, which was staged at the Asian Youth Theatre Festival in Chiang Mai, Thailand. As a writer, Samuel is drawn to art that serves as a tool for catharsis and knowledge-sharing—work that helps navigate life’s complexities with clarity and simplicity.
